Looking back, 2024 was a year of remarkable achievements made possible by your active participation and enthusiasm. The potential and strength demonstrated by all sectors of our society laid the solid foundation for creating a "happier Seongbuk-gu together" and "Greater Leaps Forward in Seongbuk-gu

2025 will be a pivotal year in realizing our district’s vision for the future.
We will dedicate all administrative and financial resources to delivering tangible policy outcomes and advancing sustainable urban growth.

1. Realizing a Warm and Inclusive Welfare Community
We will ensure the seamless construction of a modern welfare center for seniors, offering leisure and comprehensive health and welfare services.
By launching the Seongbuk Welfare Foundation, we aim to systematically address diverse welfare demands and expand tailored welfare services.
Through integrated welfare policies encompassing generations and classes, we will build a Seongbuk-gu where no one is left behind

2. Accelerating the Development of a Premier Residential City
We will efficiently advance redevelopment and reconstruction projects across 130 zones, including Jangwi New Town, to accelerate urban development.
To support residents, we will offer clear and accessible information through the Urban Development Academy, tailored to their perspectives.

3. Creating a City Where Transportation and Housing Are in Harmony
We will address the anticipated population growth and transportation demand resulting from redevelopment and reconstruction projects with balanced solutions. Active collaboration with related agencies will be pursued to revive and advance the original plan for the Gangbukhoengdan Line, while we steadily promote the Dongbuk Line.
The Jeongneung Bus Public Garage Complex Development will incorporate cultural and sports facilities, paving the way for a livable and balanced city.

4. Building a Dynamic Economic City That Benefits Everyone
We will expand the issuance of the Seongbuk Love Gift Certificates and enhance low-interest financial support for small business owners.
By establishing the Seongbuk Youth Smart Startup Center, we will actively support youth entrepreneurship. Through the Campus Town project, which fosters symbiotic growth between universities and the local community, we will advance forward as a vibrant economic hub.

5. Creating a Vibrant Cultural City to Enjoy in Everyday Life
Projects such as the revitalization of the Seongbukcheon waterfront, construction of the Wolgok Multipurpose Sports Facility, opening of the Bomunsa Forest Library, and development of cultural libraries in Gaeunsan Neighborhood Park and Jangwi-dong will transform Seongbuk into a city where leisure and culture thrive.
